YISIT TO CANBERRA AUSTRALIA AND AMERICA CORDIALITY OF RELATIONS By Telegrajth—Press Association—Copyright (Received February 20. 9.15 p.in.) CANBERRA. Feb. 20 Mr. Lincoln Ellsworth, who has flown to Canberra from Melbourne to-day in a Royal Australian Air Force machine, was entertained by the Commonwealth Cabinet at luncheon. The Prime Minister, Mr. J. A. Lyons, emphasised the cordial relations existing between Australia and the United States. " Our two countries bordering on the Pacific have much in common," he said. " In our hands lies largely the maintenance of peace in the Pacific and we iec] we have a little more interest in the exploits of a representative of America than in those of any other national." Mr. Lyons said Australia had been pleased to take part in what might be regarded as the rescue of Mr. Ellsworth, particularly as some small return for the splendid gesture of the United States in so vigorously conducting the search for the late Mr. Charles Tim. Mr. Ellsworth in replying, expressed his appreciation of Australia s assistance. _____
