VENUE QF NEXT MEETING WELLINGTON EXHIBITION The council of the New Zealand Institute of Architects decided yesterday to hold the next annual conference of the institute in Christchurch. The date on which the conference will commence was left for the consideration of the executive and the various branches of the institute. Acting on the suggestion of the president, Mr. W. Gray Young, of Wellington, the council decided to assist in the collection of photogaphs and suitable drawings of architecture in the Dominion for exhibition at the opening of the Wellington art gallery and museum about the middle of this year. The chairmen of the branches were requested to procure exhibits, while the executive of the institute was empowered to make arrangements f. r the collection and hanging of exhibits.
