GILBERT AND SULLIVAN

SEASON STARTS TO-MORROW Tho J. C. Williamson Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company arrived at Auckland from Sydney by tho Monowai yesterday. Rehearsals commenced as soon as the company was ashore and the season will open with a performance of "The Gondoliers" at His Majesty's Thoatro to-morrow night. Tho compnny has just completed a phenomenally successful tour of Australia and there is every likelihood that the Dominion season will prove as popular. Booking arrangements are advertised.
