PENDING NEGOTIATIONS CORDIAL NOTE TO CAIRO British Wireless RUGBY, Feb. 14 With the exchange of Notes between Ali Maher Pasha and Sir Miles Lampson the way has been prepared for the opening of the Anglo-Egyptian conversations. In Sir Miles' reply to the Egyptian Note he says the British Government is that both sides will do their utmost to ensure that the exercise of freedom, of discussion and action in the conduct of the negotiations shall not affect the cordial relations between the two countries.
