VISIT OF MISSIONARY
ARRIVAL NEXT MONTH WORK IN BELGIAN CONGO The New Zealand Council of the World-Wide Evangelisation Crusade has been notified of the arrival early next month of Mr. Harold Williams, a missionary from the Belgian Congo, who is at present on furlough in Australia. Mr. Williams has spent seven and a-half years in the heart of Africa, and was associated for four and a-half years with Mr. C. The influencfe of the society was extended to four other countries, Little Tibet, Arabia, Colombia and North ' India, and in spite of economic conditions in recent years the work has progressed remarkably. By the first anniversary of the death of Mr. Studd, which occurred in July, 1931, 10 new missionaries had gone forth, by the second, 15 more, by the third 25, and by the fourth 50 more were ready to sail. It is anticipated that 75 new missionaries will be designated to the various fields this year. Mr. Williams, who will be accompanied by Mrs. Williams, is due to arrive in Auckland by the Aorangi on March 2, and will spend three or four months in the Dominion before returning to the mission fields.
