FINAL TEST MATCHES WESTERN SPRINGS EVENTS WIN FOR THE COLONIES The Colonies won the third and final official cinder-track test at the Western Springs Stadium on Saturday night, beating England by 15 points to 8. Some thrilling racing was seen early in the programme, when the Now Zealand record was broken by L. Van Praag, who covered four laps in lm 15 3-ss, but mechanical troubles detracted from the later races. There was an attendance of about 10,000. The Colonies were represented by L. Van Praag and D. Case (Australia), and A. Mattson and C. Goldberg (Auckland), while tho English teum comprised E. Langton, S. Greatrox, B. Clibbett and B. Harrison.
