WHILE ON HOLIDAY
After the house has been closed for the annual holiday, if only for a week, a musty smell seems to pervade the rooms, which takes a couple of daj's to wear off. This can be avoided by leaving a saucer in each room containing half a teaspoon of oil of lavender. The rooms will smell siveet and fresh after a fortnight if treated in this way v The oil of lavender also keeps moths away, ijnd a few drops on a pad of cottonwool in the wardrobe is a wise precaution while on holiday.
