QUICKLY MADE PRESENT
The picture show's such a useful and novel little gift in the shape of a Chinaman, who is the obliging keeper of any number of small pins and safety pins—which are always so much in demand, and often so difficult to find just at the moment they are wanted. The little man is made in a few moments, and looks so quaint when finished. Two
coloured gliiss beads are required for the face and neck, a fat pin-cushion for the body, while large satety pins form the arms and legs. The hat is two cardboard circies covex-ed with material and then sewn together. Round the edge small pins are pushed in to form a rim, and other pins or glass-headed ones are stuck all over the body. Make a loop of thin cord to come through a hole in the top of the hat, and by this the funny little figure is hung up in a handy place.
