DROWNED IN SHEEP DIP

CHILD'S TRAGIC DEATH CANTERBURY FARMER'S LOSS [BY TELEGBAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION] CHRISTCHUKCH. Tuesday The two-year-old son of Mr. A. Brustad, of Waiau, was drowned in a sheep dip at his father's home to-day. The child, who was with his father in the woolshed, was unobserved for a few minutes and was found ten minutes later in the sheep dip. Resuscitation measures failed. A doctor was called immediately but the child was dead. The child's mother, who was well known by her maiden name of Miss Aroha Clifford, died when the baby was born.
