THE WEEKLY NEWS
SPECIAL LOCAL PICTURES STORM DAMAGE AND REGATTA Special pictorial features which should make a strong appeal to A ticklanders are included in this week's issue of The Weekly News, to be published on Wednesday. They cover the Anniversary Day regatta and the storm which caused so much damage at the week-end. The regatta is illustrated on the double-page by a fine display of photographs, while the frontispiece is also composed of excellent studies of the racing yachts. A novel feature is a full-page picture taken from the air, showing the magnificent view of yachts and harbour that the airman was privileged to see last Wednesday. The week-end storm in the Auckland district is illustrated by two pages of photographs which tell a graphic story of damage to pleasure craft, trees and property. Copies of The Weekly News should be ordered immediately.
