Lady Hedstrom, of Suva, Fiji, arrived in Auckland yesterday from the South. Mrs. J. Leigh, jun., and her daughter, have returned from a visit to Nelson. Mrs. C. J. Kirk has returned to Auckland from a holiday spent in New Plymouth. Mrs. R. H. Chisholm, of Remuera, has returned from a holiday spent at -Waiheko Island. Miss Nola Hughes, of Stanley Point, Devonport, has returned from a visit to Onetangi, Wailieke Island. Mrs. W. T. Cotter and Miss Brabant, of llemuera, will leave early next week on a visit to the Bay of Plenty. Mrs. It. H. Cowan, Ascot Avenue, Remuera, has returned from a visit to friends in Te Awamutu and district. Mrs. E. R. Gibbs, of Hamilton, and Mrs. G. A. Gibbs, of Putaruru, will spend this month at Mount Maunganui. Mrs. W. E. O'Shea, of Wellington, is staying in Auckland and is the guest of Mrs. M. McKenzie, Hampton Court Flats. Captain and Mrs. Webb, of Wadestown, Wellington, will leave Auckland by the Niagara next Tuesday, en route to London. Mrs. Orange, with the Rev. E. J. Orange and family, has returned to Wellington from a holiday in the Auckland district. The Misses Patricia and .Tocelyn Lusher and Antoinette Gully have returned from a holiday spent at Onetangi, Wailieke Island. Mrs. J. Macleod, of Whangarei, who has been the guest of Mrs. Ivan Fleming, of Narrow Neck, has left,to spend a few weeks in Tauranga. Mrs. Noel Wallace and the Misses Mavis and Price Wallace, Ladies' Mile, Remuera, have returned after five weeks spent at Deep Creek. Miss Dorothy Buchanan left Christchurch on .Thursday for Hamilton, where she' has been appointed sistertutor at the Waikato Hospital. Miss Kathleen Thomson, Clive Road, Epsom, will leave for Sydney by the Maunganui from Wellington next Tuesday, an route to England. Mrs. Douglas Eden and her two sons, who have recently been staying at Milford, left Wellington by the Maui Pomare for Samoa on Thursday. At Hotel Cargen are: —Mrs. E. C. Gower and Miss A. Gower (Hamilton), Miss S. Chambers (Havelock North), Miss Digges-Smith (Wellington). Dr. Gladys Montgomery, who was a delegate to the Conference of the Federation of University Women held in Wellington this week, will return to Auckland during the week-end. Miss E. Murray, who has been spending a holiday with Mrs. S. Fitzsimmons, of Spreydon, left Christchurch by aeroplane on Wednesday for Palmerston North, en route to the Bay of Plenty. At the Station Hotel are:—Mrs. E. Drexler and Miss Drexler (Melbourne), Mrs. R. A. Candy (Waitoa), Miss K. Tracy (Bay of Islands), Miss E. Mclntyre and Miss E. Frances (Christchurch), Mrs. A. T. Crosher (Waihi). Mrs. F. B. Zincke, of Sydney, who has been the guest of Mrs. A. J. Joughin, Wallace Street, Herne Bay, will leave to-day, accompanied by Mrs. Joughin, for Tauranga. Later they will visit Rotorua and Cambridge, arriving finally in Wellington, where they will be the guests of Mrs. Robert Hall.
