MEDICAL DEGREES
CONFERRED BY SENATE A number of degrees in science and medical science was formally conferred bv the chancellor of the University of New Zealand, the Hon. J. A. Hanan, M.L.C., nt the closing meeting of the Senate yesterday. The list of graduates was as 'follows, the first named being from the Canterbury College and all the others from the University of Otago:— Doctor of Scienoe.—William Wilson, B.E. „ „ Doctor of Dental Surgery.—Geoffrey Harold Gilbert. Bachelor of Merflcine and Bachelor or Surgery.—-dive Murray Arthur, Alexander 'Charles Begg, Margaret Annie Birks, Frederick Lawrence Clark, George Mudie Foote, Bruce Walton Grieve, Thomas Alastair Macfarlnne, Harvard Northcroft Merrington, Francis Arthur Hatherall Neate, Ralph George Park, Gavin Lindsey Miles Scholofield, Benjamin Gibson Gunlys Spiers, John Dalrymple Willis, Mabel Collis Wood, Wallace Neil CampbelL Bachelor of Dental Surgery. —William John Anderson, Alvin Wilfred do Berry, James William Dove, John Richard Herrick Hcfford, Ellen Miller, Alan George Nisbet.
