TRAVEL CLUB TEA
The activities of the Auckland Travel Club for this -year commenced with a morning tea held in the Reception Hall of Milne and Choyce yesterday. The hostess for the morning was Lady Sin-clair-Lockhart, who welcomed the out-of-town and overseas guests. Those taking part in the programme which sh§ had arranged were Mrs. Humfrey Gordon and Miss Nancye Hanna, who sa ng, Miss Leela Bloy, who gave a , violin solo, and Miss Kathleen 0 Leary, who gave a pianoforte £olo. Miss Isabel McKinnon was the accompanist. An B ddress on travel in Switzerland was Sptven by the Swiss Consul, M. Blau, Strong, of Otago Univer- ' s i >o^e on the living conditions of the Maoris and the need to remedy tliem. .. Among |.ha out-of-town and overseas guests were: —Miss C. D.
