RAGLAN FUNCTION
Always a successful function, the annual complimentary social to visitors took place in the Town Hall, Raglan, on Monday evening, when there was a very large attendance of visitors from Hamilton, Matamata, Te Arolia, Morrinaville, Te Mata, Cainbridge, Walton, Taliuna and surrounding districts. The stage and supper room were decorated with hydrangeas in shades of blue and punga ferns. A programme of items was contributed hv Miss P. Heddon. Miss A. Gilmour, Miss N. Williams, Miss l>. Jovrit, Mr. L. Christianson, Mr. K. Petchell and a musical playette by the Karioi childreu. Mr. W. .1. Karle (Hamilton), speaking on behalf of the visitors, expressed appreciation and gratitude to those responsible for providing such a happy and successful evening.
