Bremner now goes forward and meets Dunedin's unbeaten rink (W. binderson), who is really playing well. H. Whittle (Grey Lynn) was credited with a good win against H. Wilson in the pairs. Ho then went on and met T. Ferguson (Balmacewan). A feature of the game was Higginson's leading and the positional play by his skip. Out of the 18 heads played Whittle scored on 12. He will now have to wait until .3..'50 p.m. to-morrow for twr> pairs games to be decided in the morning. E. A. Smith (United) is to play S. Beer (Napier) and the winner to play R. E. McNish (Canterbury), and the winner again to meet Grey Lynn.
