SHORTAGE OF DOMESTICS
CHRISTCHURCH EXPERIENCE Although there are plenty of domestic positions offering in Christehurch, there is a marked scarcity of girls to fill these situations, stated the secrotary of the Christclmrch Home Service Association this week. She added that there were many positions offering in all parts of the city, but that great trouble was being met in filling them from the suitable applicants offering. The increase in demand for domestics had been more noticeable during the holiday period.
