Jan. 15 The manager of the National Boxing Club, Mr. Munro, states that the club has accepted terms submitted by Ambrose Palmer to induce him to remain in Australia, and has offered to arrange for Palmer to meet Fred Henneberry in a light-heavy-weight championship bout at the Sydney Stadium on February 10. Palmer states, however, that he will not decide whether to accept the offer until his wife, who has been ill, has undergone,a medical examination and it is shown whether she is fit to travel with him to England.
