GREYMOUTH LOANS
RATEPAYERS' APPROVAL ELECTRICITY AND WATER [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] GREYMOUTH. Wednesday The raising of loans totalling was sanctioned by ratepayers to-day. The Grey Power Board's proposal to borrow £16,000 for the purpose of raising the level of the Kaimata dam and further reticulation was carried by 677 votes to 79. The proposal of the Greymouth Borough Council to borrow £BOOO for the purpose of providing a water supply in Cobden was carried by the Cobden ratepayers by 150 rotes to 51.
