CRICKET IN INDIA
AUSTRALIAN PLAYERS FIRST MATCH OF TOUR (Received November 6, 11.45 p.m.) CALCUTTA. Nov. 6 Mr. Frank Tarrant's Australian team of cricketers opened its tour of India with a match against West of India States at Rajkot. The local side batted first and made 154 runs. Oxenham took five wickets for 40 and Mair four for 63. Australia scored 96 for six wickets yesterday (Wendell Bill 29). The visitors to-day were all out for a total of 197 (Mair 42, Ellis 37).
