WAIHI INVESTMENTS FIRMER EASING IN PLACERS Waihi Investments rose 5d on sale at 17s in the mining market on the Auckland Stock Exchange yesterday. Matakis were traded 3d higher at 2s 3d, while levels for Marthas and Mount Lyells also firmed. Placer Developments were released 2s lower at £4 19s, with more available. Closing quotations were:—
