GUY FAWKES DAY
Occasional heavy showers last evening did not appear to dampen tho ardour of tho youth of Auckland, who celebrated Guy Fawkes Day in tho traditional fashion. Many rockets wero seen in tho skies, v whik> dozens of bonlires, closely guarded from the rain during the past day or two, were sot alight. Several accidents, none of them serious, wero reported.
