NEW FILM COMPANY

Mary Pickford and Jesse Lasky, the producer, are to join forces in a new concern to be known as Lasky-Pickford Productions. Mr. Lasky will be president and Miss Pickfoid vice-president. Half the pictures are to be made in England, and Mr. Lasky recently sailed for London to arrange for the use of part of Mr. Alexander Korda's new studios at Denham. It is stated that the first six pictures havi= been planned at an average cost of £IOO,OOO each.
