WAITEMATA LADIES' CLUB BOGEY MATCH ON TUESDAY A bogey match will be played on Tuesday by members of the Waitemata Ladies' Golf Club, players to choose partners. In the L.G.U medal match Mrs. C. Prime and Miss Hogan tied. Miss Hogan winning on the count back. The C grade medal match was won by Mrs Bower, and Mrs. Graham's prize was won by Mrs. Morrison. The semi-final of the week-end match play competition must be played during this week-end. t ORAKEI CLUB Members of the Orakei Golf Club will contest a medal handicap to-day. a Stableford bogey match during the week-end and a four-ball best ball bogey handicap competition on Monday. Partners and opponents will be arranged at the clubhouse. ORAKEI LADIES' CLUB The open day arranged by the Orakei Ladies' Golf Club for next Thursday has been postponed to a later date. CLUBS AT WHAKATANE [bt telegraph—own correspondent] WHAKATANE, Friday The election of officers at the annual meeting of the Whakatane Golf Club last night resulted:—President, J. G. Cliff McCulloch; vice-presidents, Messrs. A. E. Powdrell and S. C. Spence; secretary. Mr. S. Napier; treasurer, Mr. C. A. Suckling; captain. Mr. E. L. Innes; assistant-captain, Mr. A. Clarke; committee, Messrs. J. TV. Billiard, H. Stubbs and F. Reynolds; hon. auditor. Mr. R. S. Baker. The balance-sheet showed a sound financial position, the club's assets being £OO4 in excess of liabilities, while a credit balance of £53 on the year's working was recorded. The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Whakatane Ladies' Golf Club President, Mrs. J. G. Cliff McCulloch; captain. Miss F. Bell: secretary, Mrs. Spence: committee. Mesdnmes Powdrell, Otley. Suckling. Bullard and Fraser.
