TRANSFER OF HEADMASTER

Notice was received by the District Schools Committee last evening of a reduction in grade of the Central School, making necessary the transfer of the headmaster, Mr. W. D. Bennett, and the appointment in his stead of a head teacher with a grade four salary. It was stated that to raise the school another 25 pupils were necessary.
