UNEMPLOYMENT RELIEF
CLOSING OF COUNTRY CAMPS COMMISSIONER'S INSTRUCTION [from our own correspondent] HAMILTON, Tuesday Instructions .have been issued to county councils by the Commissioner of Unemployment, Mr. «T. S. Hunter, that no further men are to bo sent to country camps and that steps are to be taken to close the camps as the present programme of work was completed. When the advice was received by tho Waipa County Council yesterday, it was stated that "there wero seven camps in the county and that at Pukckura there was work which would occupy tho men employed for 12 months.
