ADJUSTMENTS TO MACHINE PETROL SUPPLY LIMITED LONDON, Oct. 14 Sir Charleiii Kingsford Smith now expects to leave on Wednesday or Thursday morning on his flight to Australia. He conferred with the Air Ministry today and agreed to remove or seal the extra petrol tanks in his machine to conform to requirements. This will reduce his petrol by about 100 gallons, which will limit the rango of the machine to lISOO miles. The airmaia is disappointed and has abandoned hope of breaking the record.
