ARMIES OF ABYSSINIA
GENERALISSIMO APPOINTED RECENT DELEGATE TO THE LEAGUE (Received October 15, 11.5 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 15 The Daily Mail's Jibouti correspondent says the Emperor has appointed General Hawariat (recently the Abyssinian representative at Geneva) Generalissimo of the Ethiopian Armies. He will travel immediately to Egypt by air and thence by steamer. He should reach Addis Ababa in eight or nine days. The Emperor's three-engined aeroplane is to be placed at General Hawariat's disposal. This will enable him to direct the campaigns on the Ogaden and fronts simultaneously.
