INJURY TO GOLFER
ACCIDENT DURING PLAY STRUCK BY HOOKED BALL [BT TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION'] CHRISTCHUHCH, Tuesday An accident occurred during play in the New Zealand golf tournament on the Shirley links this afternoon. D. C. Collins, the Wairarapa player, was struck over the heart by a hooked ball driven by B. M. Silk. Collins, who was partnered by T. H. Horton, was unable to continue, but recovered after being taken to the clubhouse.
