ANOTHER ORIENT LINER
SISTER SHIP TO THE ORION ORDER PLACED IN ENGLAND British Wireless RUGBY, Oct. 13 The Orient Steam Navigation Company has placed an order with Vickers, Armstrong, Limited, for a sister ship to the 23,370-ton liner Orion, now on her maiden voyage to Australia after a Mediterranean cruise during which she went to the assistance of the liner Doric and took the passengers off after the Doric had been in a collision. The Orion was launched by wireless from Australia by the Duke of Gloucester last December. The new liner is also intended for the Australian mail service.
