DIVORCE DECREES
TWO PETITIONS GRANTED A HUSBAND'S ADMISSIONS Two divorce decrees, to become effective after three months, were granted by Mr. Justice Callan in the Supreme Court yesterday. Allegations of her husband's unfaithfulness were the basis of the petition of Ruby Pearl Wilson (Mr. Schramm) for divorce from John Louis Wilson. They were married in Auckland in February, 1924, and afterwards lived together at Te Kuiti and at Auckland. There were two children of the marriage.
The petitioner said her husband deserted her five years ago. She took proceedings against him and he was arrested, but they made it up again and lived together for three years until May 13 of this year. He had admitted keeping company with another woman. His Honor granted a decree nisi with interim custody of the children to the petitioner.
On the ground of separation by mutual consent, Christine Catherine Blade (Mr. Sullivan) sought dissolution of her marriage with Arthur Edwin Blade (Mr. B. Goldwater). The marriage took place at the Lutheran Church at Mauriceville in September, 1905. The petitioner said there were three children, of the marriage, all now of age. A decree nisi was issued and an order made against respondent by arrangement for £l4, balance to settle costs and disbursements.
