GIRLS' SPORTS
MEETING AT CARLAW PARK The 10th annual sports meeting of the Auckland Girls' Athletic Association will be held at Carlaw Park next Saturday, when, owing to the large number of teams entering, the competition will be divided into A and B sections. Teams which gained points in last year's competitions will be grouped in the A section and the other teams, together with new entrants, will form the B division. The presentation of additional cups for competition in the B section is expected to heighten interest among the teams in that section. The complete programme will comprise massed drill and marching, figure marching, team games and tableaux, all events to bo competed in coloured costume.
