MUSICAL COMEDY SEASON
Although the stage production of the musical comedy "Roberta" has achieved an outstanding success at His Majesty's Theatre, its season cannot bo extended and the final performance here will be given on Tuesday night. On Wednesday afternoon and evening and on the following three nights Madge Elliott, Cyril Ritchard and the members of the J. C. Williamson Company will present a brilliant production of the delightful musical play "High Jinks," the recent revival of which ran for 16 weeks. "High Jinks" is undoubtedly one of the most attractive musical comedies ever staged by J. C. Williamson Limited. It i» crammed with comedy that provides the artists with the most mirth-provoking opportunities, dances that are a delight, and its exquisite melodies are among its outstanding features. New and elaborate costumes have been created for the present revival of "High Jinks," and the scenic artists have painted some dolightful settings. Only four nights can be devoted to "High Jinks," and on Monday, October 14, the popular musical comedy "Our Miss Gibbs" will be produced.
