IMPROVED MARKET GILT-EDGED STOCKS (Received September 27. 7.45 p.m.) SYDNEY. Sept. 27 On the Sydney Stock Exchange today the investment market moved further toward recovery. Broken Hill silver and lead concerns hardened, and gilt-edged stocks improved three to eight points. The turnover in classified company shares was not heavy. MERINOS CLEARED READILY CROSSBREDS IRREGULAR LONDON. Sept. 20 At the London wool sales to-day 10,514 bales were offered, including 6057 Nciv Zealand. About 8625 bales of Australian and New Zealand were sold. Merinos were cleared readily at full rates. Crossbreds wore rather irregular, buyers being reluctant to follow the higher limits.
