TWENTY-FOUR HOUR EVENT The route chosen for the 24-hour John Bull reliability trial during Labour Day week-end will include towns both south and north of Auckland. Leaving the Auckland Motor-Cycle Club's rooms at 2.30 p.m. on Saturday, October 28, the riders will travel through Pokeno, Thames, Morrinsville, Hamilton, Glen Murray and thence back to Auckland, where they should arrive early the following morning. After breakfast they will leave for Helensville, Tauhoe, Mangawai and Whangarei, whence they will return via Dargaville and Silverdale. Those taking part in the trial will not be permitted to use either timepieces or speedometers and they will bo timed by secret checks along the route.
