PRESENTATIONS
Prior to leaving Kaikohe for Te Kuiti, the Rev. W. T. Brabyn and Mrs. Brabyn were farewelled at various centres and presented with several tokens of esteem and good wishes. At Kaikohe Mr. C. Cameron ; chairman of the Town Board, presided over a crowded attendance, and on behalf of the people presented Mr. Brabyn with a roll of notes, while Mr. Guy, for the Musical Society, presented him with a pair of leather gauntlets. Miss Hilder, on behalf of the Bible classes, handed Mr. Brabyn four volumes of theological works. Miss Berry, on behalf of the Presbvterian ladies' guild, presented Mrs. Brabvn with a crystal pendant and glass dish', and Mr. A. McDonald, for the Sunday School, presented her with a fruit disii. At Okaihau Mr. Perry, on behalf of the northern end of the district, presented Mr. Brabyn with n roll of notes.
