MR. J. H. WILTSHIRE [ritOM OUK OWN correspondent] HAMILTON. Friday The death has occurred of Mr. John Hislop Wiltshire, aged 80, a resident of the Orini district for the past 25 years. Ho was well know,n and highly respected in Orini and came to the Waikato from the Feilding district with his family. MRS. MARTHA CLARKE [by telegraph—or: correspondent] THAMES, Friday The death has occurred in Opotiki of Mrs. Martha Clarke, aged 89. The late Mrs. Clarke was born in Dublin and came to New Zealand at an early age with her parents. She married the late Mr. Henr> Millet Clarke, of tho Bay of Plenty Cavalry, at Gate Pa, Taurangn, and arrived in Opotiki 70 years ago Mr. Clarke was for somo years master of tho Omariimutn School, but retired and died in Opotiki in 1879, leaving his widow to rear a family of four girls and one son. Mrs. Clarke was .always an enthusiastic: member of St. Stephen's Anglican Church, being a member of the choir for many years. She was also librarian at the Mechanics' Institute library, am] held'the position until a few years ago, when failing health compelled her to resign. She is survived by two daughters and one son. There are nine grandchildren. MRS. THOMAS FORSYTH [HV TELEGRAPH —PIIKSS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON. Friday The death has occurred of Mrs. Elizabeth Forsyth, wife of Mr. Thomas Forsyth, a well-known citizen of Wellington. She was born in Gracefield, Northern Ireland, and came out to Duncdin. She married in 1894.

MRS. F. E. ADAMS The death has occurred of Mrs. Frances Elisabeth Adams, aged 63, wife of Mr. J. 11. Adams, of Lucerne Road, Romuera. Mrs. Adams was tho eldest daughter of the late Mr. Francis Cherry, surveyor, of Auckland. For many years sne was closely associated with the activities of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre,
