AVONDALE EX-SOLDIERS
Reference to tho strong financial position of the Avondalo Returned Soldiers' Club and the recent gains in membership was made by the president, Mr. J. Gallagher, at a meeting this week. He stated that there were, bowever, many returned men in tho district who had not joined the club. The meeting was addressed by Messrs. J. W. Kendall and A. W. M. Ohlson, of tho Auckland Returned Soldiers' Association, who dealt with soldiers' pensions and "burned out veterans,"
