Stftllworthv, of Auckland,*"' who gained the New Zealand medical travelling scholarship in 1931, and the travelling scholarship in obstetrics and gynaecology in 1933, has been appointed to a resident position in the department of obstetrics! and gynaecology under Professor James Young, formerly professor at Edinburgh University, at the new post-graduate medical school at Hammersmith, London. Dr. Stallworthv has been acting obstetrician and gynaecologist to the New End Hospital; ' Hampstead, London.
