THE ANNUAL BALL The Peter Pan Cabaret was last night the scene of a most successful ball jiven by the president and executive t>f the Titirangi Golf Club. The ballroom was profusely decorated with scarlet rhododendrons and soft green foliage, which provided a picturesque background for the colourful frocks worn by the guests. In the supper room the tables were arranged with tall vases of Iceland poppies. Excellent music was provided by the Peter Pan Orchestra, a new number entitled "About a Quarter to Nine" being enthusiastically encored. The guests were received by the president, Mr. R. F. Ward, and Mrs. Ward, who was wearing a frock of black corded faille patterned in soft greeiti. The ladies of the committee present were: Mrs. G. M.
