WRESTLING
CESTOLDI AND WADE Another contest that promiseo to be equally as good and entertaining as any previously seen in Auckland will be staged at the Town Hall uext Monday. when Anselo Cestokli. who created a fine impression in his bout with McCready, will meet Glen Wade. Those who saw the Italian-American in action will agree that Wade will find Outoldi as hard to bent as any he has mot in New Zealand. Cestoldi is certainly a clevor wrestler and an even better showman than Pinto. Wade is also very popular in Auckland. Like McCready. he shows a preference for clean wrestling, but ho has proved on occasions that he can more than hold his own when an opponent resorts to rough tactics. The following amateur preliminary bouts hn-uc heen arranged:—J. McLeod (Otahuhu), Oat. 10lh,, v. W. Williamson (Y.M.C.A.), 9st. 71b.; R. Douglas (Leys), 12st. 71b., v. K. Kenneth (Y.M.C.A.), 13st.: A. Nottingham (Leys), fist. 2lb„ v. C. Woods (Lynndale.), Sst. 811).: W. Dawson (Grafton), Ost. Gib., v. 11. Green (Bayview), Ost. Gib. Emergency bout: E. Pinches (Community Sunshine), 9at., v. C. Jones (Y.M.C.A.), !)st. 61b. MATCH AT ROTORUA A fine . wregtling contest should be witnessed at Rotorua to-morrriw evening, when "Lofty" Blomfield and Leon Labriola will meet under the control of the Rotorua Wrestling Association. Enthusiasts will see in Blomfield n vastly-improved wrestler, and they can he. assured of a thrilling encounter. Labriola should bo a worthy opponent for Blomfield. The specially-constructed arena at Rotorua is probably the best in New Zealand and affords every spectator an excellent view of the ring.
