TAMAKI CLUB'S SEASON NEW OFFICERS ELECTED The past season was a record one in the history of the club, stated the chairman, Mr. W. A. Wilkinson, at the annual meeting of the Tamaki Yacht Club last night.

A feature of Hie season, continued the chairman, wns the completion of the clubhouse and all would agree that it was u credit to the Bite upon which it stood. Not only did the clubhouse come up to all lift requirements for starting and conducting the races, but it had also proved an ideal place for holding social functions. The revenue derived from this source had enabled the club to meet all current expenditure, including interest and repayment of debentures. The thanks of the club were due to the ladies' committee, which was responsible for raising over £4OO in aid of the building fund. It waa pleasing to report that at the present time thoro was every indication of the Sanders Cup contest being held on the Waitemata this season and the Tamaki Club had agreed to place the clubhouse at the disposal of the visiting yachtsmen.

The secretary, Mr. R. "Orquhart, reported that six days were devoted to racing and record entries had been received. The membership of the club was now 351, compared with 190 last year and there was every prospect of a further increase in the coming season now that the clubhouse had been completed. The balance-sheet showed that the receipts for the year amounted to £239 and the expenditure to £129, leaving a credit balance of £llO on the year's working. The receipts included £49 from subscriptions, £2B from donations, JC4B from entertainments, and £2l from entrance fees. The principal items of expenditure were £27 for prizes, £B2 for interest on debentures, £SO for debentures redeemed, and £OB for general expenses. The assets wore valued at £18(17 and the liabilities stood at £998, Jenving a surplus of £869. Messrs. W. A. Wilkinson, T. Kilfoy.le, J. W. Andrew, W. J. Boyland and Captain H. Burgess were unanimously elected life members in recognition of services, rendered for Rome years past. Each was presented with a badge by the vice-commodore, Mr. F. D. Pidgeon.

The treasurer. Mr. W. Jackson, and the secretary, Mr. R. Urquhart, were each presented with a fountain pen for their services cluring the past year.
