NEW NAPIER BUILDING
A new £30,000 threo-storc.v concrete building is to bo constructed in Marine Parade, Napier, by the Temperance and General Mutual Life Assurance Society, Limited. The base will cover two sections formerly occupied by the Y.M.C.A. and the Hnwke's Bay Women's Club building. A circular clock tower will rise 30ft. abovo the third storey. A colonade entrance will be provided on Marino Parade, with other entrances from Kmerson Street and Marine Parade. The work is estimated to take a year. Tenders will bo called shortly and an early start made.
