BITTEN BY A LION
FILM ACTOR'S EXPERIENCE LOS ANGELES. Sept. 24 Mr. Charles Bickford, a film actor, was severely bitten by a lion yesterday during the photographing of a scene for a picture. The lion had been trained to jump over Mr. Bickford's head, but instead thg 4001b. beast struck the actor squarely and sank its teeth in his back and neck. The injured man was quickly rescued and taken to hospital.
