AUSTRALIAN HIGH COURTRESIGNATION ANNOUNCED . CANBERRA, Sep*. 25 The Federal Government has received the resignation of Sir Frank Gavan Duffy from the Chief Justiceship of the High Court of Australia. Sir Frank -Gavan Duffy was appointed Chief Justice of the High Court j of Australia, in succession to Sir Isaac j Isaacs, in. January, 1931. He was made a Justice of the High Court in
1913. He was born in Dublin in 1852, His father was Sir Charles Gavarn Duffy, a focmer Premier of Victoria. Sir Frank had a large practice afctho Victorian Bar for many years beforo he was raised to the Bench.
