Sept 14 In the amateur golf championship at Cleveland, Ohio, Lawson Little and Walter Emery won their matches in the semi-finals against Goodman and Lynch respectively by 4 and 3. To-day Little won the title for the second time in succession. He defeated Emery 4 and 2. GAME IN BRITAIN NEWS OF WORLD TOURNEY PADGHAM BEATS ALLISS (Received September 15, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 14 Padghara defeated Alliss, 3 and 2, in the final of the News of the World golf tournament. Alliss in the first round putted brilliantly and led one up with 68. Padgham in the second round drove and played his irons magnificently. , At Portrush Thompson retained thsS Irish amateur golf title, defeating Mcu Lean, 5 and 4.
