CONSTABLE BREAKS LEG
FALL frok: bicycle [from our own correspondent! HAMILTON, Sunday A fractured right leg was suffered by Constable William Carran, of Kawhia, yesterday morning. Constable Carran was cycling down a steep hill over a rough road near Kawhia. The wheel of the bicycle was caught in a rut, and the machine overturned, Constable Carran's foot being pinned in a rut. He was removed to the Waikato Hospital. His condition is satisfactory. Constable Carran, who is a young married man, is being relieved at Kawhia by Constable G. Hodge, of Morrinsville.
