OBITUARY

MR. MATTHEW HENRY f [from otra own* cor respondent] • HAMILTON*, Sundaj The death occurred suddenly in Hamilton yesterday of Mr. Matthew Henry, an old Waikato resident, at the age of 78. Mr. Henry ;.vas born in Ross-shire, Scotland, and was educated at the Royal Academy, Tain, Scotland. He took up farming in Scotland at an early age, and was a member of the Cromarty Cour.ty Council; After a few years he came to Xetf Zealand and established a stock and station agency in the Manawatu. Hs returned to Scotland, and, after 3 short stay, he came back to Xew Zealand and took up farming lit Lichfield, near Putaruru. For some years he has been living ifi retirement in Hamilton. He is survived by his widow and a family of five.

BROTHER PAUL The death of Brother Paul, a forniei provincial of the Marist Brothers for Australia and New Zealand, occurred last night at a private hospital at Auckland, at fhe age of 79 veers.
