MORRINSVILLE SHOW
SOCIETY'S ANNUAL MEETING [from our own correspondent! MORRINSVILLE, Saturday There was a fail attendance of members at the 16th annual meeting of the Morrinsville A. and P. Society, at which Mr. W. J. Aitken presided. The president's report showed that the society's show had been a success, both financially and from the point of view of entries. Owing to the dry spell experienced early in the year, entries in dairy classes were below the usual, but in the horses, ponies and pigs sections entries were excellent. The balancesheet showed an excess of income over expenditure for the show of £44, ns compared with a loss on the previous show of £l)4. After writing off £ls arrears of subscriptions, tho society was able to place tho balance of £2U to the accumulated funds account. The election of officers resulted:— President, Mr. W. J. Aitken, re-elected for the sixth year in succession; vicepresidents, Messrs. G. Irvine and C. S. Loggett; committee, Messrs. J. M. Allen, J. L. Arndt, W. Bly, J, G. Clark, N. 1). Cliiford, D. T.
