BEAUTIFYING SOCIETY
FORMATION AT KAITAIA [by telecraph—OWN correspondent] IvAITAIA, Saturday A meeting of those interested in the formation of a beautifying society was held in Kaitaia. The convener of the meeting, Mr. J. T. B. Taafi'e, chairman of the town board, presided. After the question had been fully discussed it was decided to form a beautifying society, and a committee consisting of Messrs. C. McKinnon, L. Peace, H. McDonald and A. North wood was formed to draft rules. The society is to be incorporated and a further meeting is to be held next Thursday evening for the cominitteo to report and for the election of officers.
