CLAIM AGAINST BANK
AROWHANA STATION CASE ADJOURNMENT TO WELLINGTON [by telegraph OWN correspondent! GISBORNE. Sunday The evidence was concluded on Saturday night in the action in which W. D. Lvsnur proceeded against the National Bank of New Zealand for damages totalling £137,000 arising out of the bank's occupancy of Arowhana Station.
During the: 11 days of the hearing in Gisborne evidence was given by stock experts regarding the value of the stock before and during the bank's occupancy. The typewritten depositions of evidence occupied 178 foolscap sheets, and the exhibits, comprising documents, a plan, etc., total 135. The case is now adjourned to Wellington for legal argument.
